SeasonPilot data processing agreement
Effective 6 October 2026. This agreement forms part of the service terms. The merchant is controller of personal data supplied for the service; Studio8022 acts as processor where it handles that data on the merchant’s behalf. Studio8022 acts independently for its own legal, billing and security administration.
Scope and instructions
Processing lasts for the service and applicable deletion period. It covers storing, retrieving, updating and deleting shop configuration, account authentication and support information to provide seasonal effects and scheduling. Data subjects may include merchant staff and support contacts. Customer and order records are not requested. Your configuration, use of the service and documented support instructions define permitted processing.
Our obligations
We restrict access to authorised personnel with confidentiality obligations; maintain appropriate access, transport and application security; assist with verified rights requests and relevant security or regulatory obligations; and notify you without undue delay of a confirmed personal-data breach affecting your data. Contact support for information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance or arrange a proportionate audit.
Subprocessors and transfers
You authorise the providers described in our provider information, including OVHcloud for infrastructure and Shopify for platform services. We apply relevant contractual protections for subprocessors and international transfers. We will communicate material processor changes and provide a reasonable opportunity to raise a data-protection objection.
End of service
On uninstall and Shopify’s subsequent shop deletion notification, records are removed as described in the privacy notice, except where law requires retention. Existing recovery copies follow their applicable deletion cycle and remain restricted. Contact support for assistance retrieving your configuration before uninstalling.
